       From July to November, in order to celebrate the 20 anniversary of friendly province between Jiangsu and Essex. Essex held an exhibition of Pottery Figurine Art of Han Dynasty of China in Kenchesite Castle Museum. And 43 pieces (or sets) were displayed in this exhibition.

       Kenchesite Castle Museum held a great opening ceremony for our museum. The lords of British parliament house, the government leaders of Essex, Henning Field, the deputy director of the European Commission on International Affairs, the head of the Asian Community representatives of the British Museum and Chinese people, altogether 200, attended the opening ceremony.

       On the second day of the opening ceremony, it was a long queue in the gate of the museum. On the plaza of the museum, Kenchesite Castle Museum organized children, combining the Beijing Olympic Game, to provide us drum performance called we are ready, flute sole and red silk dance. The performance attracted a large number of tourists to watch and had a good atmosphere.
