The Smart Museum is a new museum form that is based on a digital museum and makes full use of new technologies such as the Internet of Things and cloud computing.

      Director Miao Hua of the Information Department of Xuzhou Museum will share with you the successful experience of six smart museum pilot units in three areas: smart protection, smart management, and smart service to explore how small and medium-sized museums carry out digital construction scientifically and reasonably combining their own characteristics.

      What are Friends of Xuzhou Museum?

      The Friends of Xuzhou Museum is called "Xuzhou Museum Friends Association". It is a non-profit organization made up of social individuals and units voluntarily composed of cultural relics and archeological historians, enthusiastic public welfare undertakings, love of Xuzhou local history and culture, willingness to exercise member rights and fulfill member obligations organization.

 Friends of Xuzhou Museum can participate in special activities for members, get advance information about exhibitions, make appointments for interpretation services, receive exclusive membership cards, and enjoy discounts at souvenir shops. Members must complete their work in accordance with the various resolutions of "Museum Night", actively participate in the activities organized by the Association, introduce or organize visitors to visit the Museum, actively promote the Museum, and supervise the activities of Friends of Xuzhou Museum and all the audience services of the Museum and put forward constructive opinions.
