The literati make fans to express their poetry and mood. Therefore fans have a meaning of exquisite and elegant art.

       A fan with the shape of moon is called “Wanshan” or “Tuanshan”. Fan was born in China and it is traditional arts and crafts with the picture of landscape and flowers. “Tuanshan” was introduced into Japan in Tang Dynasty.

       During summer holiday, we will come off a lecture about ancient fans and handcraft of drawing fans.
