Activity content:

The tomb of the King of Chu in Beidongshan is a large horizontal cave type cliff cave tomb with unique shape and complex structure, reflecting the superb technology of the architecture of the Han Dynasty. A large number of precious cultural relics have been unearthed, among which the pottery figurines are the most splendid part, and also one of the most beautiful business cards of the material and cultural relics of the Han Dynasty in Xuzhou.

The pottery figurines of the King of Chu tomb in Beidongshan are distributed in seven niches in the tomb chamber and on the side of the tomb path, among which the tomb chamber has been seriously damaged after repeated theft. A large number of pottery figurines were unearthed in the Han Dynasty tombs, which can be divided into several categories, such as standing figurines (arched figurines, soldier figurines, and arched figurines), sitting figurines, and dancing figurines.

This course mainly introduces the figurines of the Han Dynasty embodied in the Han Tomb at Beidongshan to teenagers. After class, we will lead them to experience drum beating activities. The drum is loud, magnificent, inspiring, giving people spirit and strength, and letting students feel the bold and unconstrained feeling of the ancient war drum.
